Our Roofing Division provides professional roofing solutions and we understand the pressures of replacing and refurbishing roofs with minimal disruption and impact, allowing you to maintain business as usual.

We have 30yrs experience of delivering reliable and cost-effective services, with a high standard of workmanship and health & safety. We are approved contractors for all of the major brands of roofing materials, which means that you are guaranteed a trained, knowledgeable and experienced workforce, and our in-house specialists will design and install a wide range of roofing solutions.

All our operatives are trained and competent in their fields and hold relevant qualifications. Managers hold SMSTS, Supervisors SSSTS. All Operatives hold CSCS cards.

We only use market leading products, ensuring the quality of the roof is always of the highest possible standard.

Roof Safety Solutions

Working on roofs can be extremely dangerous, especially in wet or wintry conditions. We design and install bespoke fabrications to suit all types of roofs, with the purpose of protection against falls from height, access protection, perimeter protection, and marking out walkways. From cat ladders, pipe bridges and fire escapes, to step over's, roof light protection, handrails, walkways and more.

Annual Roof Service & Maintenance

Here at GENCO we recommend that an annual inspection and service is carried out on your roof. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes are tailored to our client’s individual needs, and include gutter clearance, inspection of roof safety system and general roof maintenance.

Single Ply

Single ply roofing systems are suitable for all sizes and shapes of roofs and are ideal for lightweight, fast track and cost-effective construction projects. The systems are installed using hot air welding techniques and provide an insulated and waterproof solution that is durable, resilient to the natural elements and gives excellent fire resistance.

Liquid Applied

Liquid applied roofing systems (also known as GRP fibre-glass roofing) encapsulates the existing surface they are applied to, preserving the roof and making it fully waterproof. The various coatings are easy to apply, fast curing and long lasting. Suitable for new builds or refurbishments, they can be used on all kinds of roofing, from flat roofs and balconies, to walkways and terraces.

Felt Roofing

Recommended for its waterproofing properties and adding an integral layer of protection, this product can be used on flat roofs or under any tilling or slating. We use high quality felt roofs using tried and tested traditional methods of application, alongside the latest techniques, to ensure a long lasting, functional and high quality felt roofing system.

Asphalt Roofing

Widely used in construction due to its waterproofing capabilities as well as its tough and durable nature, this surface will provide a smooth and protective layer to your roof.

Sheeting & Cladding

There are numerous different sheeting and cladding systems available, covering all types of coloured metal sheeting and composites, together with fibre cement and corrugated sheets. Our specialists will create a bespoke design to suit the profile and needs of the building regardless of size and complexity.

Tiling & Slating

From slates, to clay and concrete tiles, we carry out all types of pitched roofing works and we have expert technicians and operatives who understand industry regulations including insulation and ventilation requirements.

Glazing

There are many types of glazing, from self-cleaning and low-emissivity glazing, to wired and tempered glazing. And there are various installations and designs including; hinged, sliding, pitched, ridged and pyramid to glazed canopies, walkways and vertical glazing. We are fully qualified to meet building regulations relating to; safety, means of escape and ventilation.

Strong, durable, sustainable and recyclable, leadwork is a very popular choice for modern and historic buildings due to its long lifespan, competitive cost and its ability to enhance the aesthetics of a building.

Scaffolding

Whether it’s a mobile scaffold tower, fixed scaffold or bespoke design, we can supply and install, thus enabling safe access and a solid working platform from which to carry out construction, maintenance and installation works. All scaffolding will be erected, dismantled and inspected by competent and qualified staff.
