GENCO Giants supporting ’21Together’

In July 2018 Genco was approached by O’Keefe Group’s Community Foundation to take part in a charity football tournament to raise money for a Kent based charity called ‘21 Together‘. The charity was set up by four mums of children with Down’s Syndrome, who identified a need for specialised training within the area to support parents and children. They achieved this by providing fortnightly communication groups to improve speech and social skills, and in additional, these groups provide much needed advice and support services for parents and carers.

The event was held at K-Sport Community Football facility in Kent with 20 teams taking part including the Genco Giants. With some tough competition, Genco Giants came runners up!! It was an absolute honour to be part of such a wonderful project enabling us to contribute to such a worthy charity and look forward to a rematch in 2019.
